Heidelberger Plastination Folder (HA00) Plastination manual in German (HA00-1) or English
(HA00-2). Author: Gunther von Hagens (inventor of
plastination). 1985 edition, 160 pages. A fully revised
and extended version is currently being prepared.
Adhesive Foil (HA20) For the protection of slices impregnated with E 12, P 35
or P 40 against scratching during the sawing process.
Thickness: 50 μm, width: 40 cm (16 in), transparent.
Stretch Foil (HA21) Multi-purpose tool for the plastination laboratory,
especially for the airtight sealing of the small Gas Curing
Unit (HH10). Width: 50 cm (20 in), transparent.
Polyester Foil, Sheets (HA25) For hardening according to the draining method and
the sandwich method of E 12 impregnated transparent
body slices. Thickness: 100 μm, cut to 40 cm x 50 cm
(16 in x 20 in), transparent. The sheets are slightly
larger than the glass plates, so any superfluous resin
can easily drain.
Bucket, rectangular (HA36) 19 L (5 gal)—with lid and foldable carrying handle.
Material: Polyethylene, solvent resistant. Color: white.
Suitable as immersion and impregnation vessel for
the P 35 and P 40 methods.
Shoulder-Length Gloves (HA41) Strong and elastic material (latex), for high mechanical
stress. The gloves protect reliably up to above the
forearm against liquids and many acids and bases.
Suitable only for short-term contact (a few minutes)
with solvents. Length: 600 mm (23 in), thickness:
approximately 1.10 mm (0.04 in), color: beige.
Solvent Resistant Gloves (HA42) Resistant against, e.g., acetone (>480 h) and methylene
chloride (approximately 400 h); gasproof; good
flexibility, even when cold. Size: 10. Length: 350 mm
(14 in), thickness: approximately 0.70 mm (0.03 in),
color: black.
