Acetonometer (HD01 – HD02) Scaled glass aerometer for the determination of the
acetone concentration in acetone water mixture on a
coarse (0%-100%, HD01) or fine (90%-100%, HD02)
scale. Calibrated at +20 °C (+70 °F). Measurements
are taken with the graduated cylinder included. The
percentage volume of acetone is read directly from the
immersion level. Stainless Steel Drums (HD05 – HD07) For holding specimens during the dehydration and
degreasing processes. Stainless steel lids with locking
ring included.
HD05
Capacity: 35 L (9 gal), diameter: 345 mm (13 in),
height: 490 mm (19 in; outer dimensions), weight:
7.9 kg (17 lbs). Suitable for smaller specimens up to
a size of a human head. Useful complement for the
small Heidelberg Plastination Unit (HI01) and/or the
Heidelberg Plastination Kettle (HI02). For cooling
purposes we recommend Freezer HL04, which can
hold up to three of these drums.

HD06 Capacity: 100 L (26 gal), diameter: 590 mm (23 in),
height: 450 mm (18 in; outer dimensions), weight:
11.9 kg (26 lbs). Suitable for small to medium size
specimens as well as for smaller organ and body
slices. Freezers HL04/HL01 will hold two of these
drums, Freezers HL05/HL02 and HL06/HL03 will hold
up to three.
HD07 Capacity: 150 L (39 gal), diameter: 590 mm (23 in),
height: 670 mm (26 in; outer dimensions), weight: 15
kg (33 lbs). Suitable for all larger specimens as well as
for organ and body slices (with Wire Basket HD08 as
drum insert for stacking of slices). Freezer HL06/HL03
will hold three of these drums.

Wire Basket (HD08) For stacking of organ and body slices in sheet
plastination during the dehydration and degreasing
processes. Plastic-coated. Outer dimensions: 280 mm
x 400 mm x 310 mm (11 in x 16 in x 12 in; h x w x d).
Suitable as drum insert for Stainless Steel Drum HD07.
Separating Grids and Gauze (HD15, HD16, and HD18) have been cut to fit this basket. Sorting Mesh (HD12) Fine polymer netting, solvent resistant. For enclosure
of loose parts (e.g., tarsal bones) of an entire specimen
that should remain close together during plastination
to avoid time-consuming reallocation later on.
Mesh width: 3 mm x 4 mm (0.11 in x 0.15 in), total
width: 217 cm (85 in).

Polymer Grids and Netting (HD15, HD16, HD18) For sheet plastination using the E 12 method. For
stacking and stabilizing the sawed and/or cut organ
and body slices during the dehydration, degreasing,
and forced impregnation processes.
Cut to size for Wire Basket HD08. Polymer Gauze (HD15) For forced impregnation.
